AC/DC

AC/DC are an Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 by brothers Malcom and Angus Young.

When on Scott (the singer) joined the band, the group began to have more sucess. Other membrs of the group were Mark Evans (bass) and Phil Rudd (drummer).

In 1976 they moved to the UK an in a short period of time they obtained a huge public acceptance, immediately occupying the top position in sales with records such as Let there Be Rock (1977) and Powrage (1978), and they decided to introduce Cliff William as new bass guitarist.

Whit the album High way to Hell they managed to sell millions of copies and they became famous in the US.

In 1980 Bon Scott died of a heavy alcohol consumption.

Brian johnson became the nw singer of the group.

Back in Black (1980) was a tribute album to the death of their original singer and it became the third best selling album in music history.

AC/DC are one of the highest box- office draw bands of all times.
